High Glow: Floats between a euphoric daydream and an acid flashback, blending grunge, post-punk, sludge, and shoegaze into what they call “Sludge-Gaze.” Formed by Tyler Rachal and Keith Vidal, they released an EP in 2022 before Andrea Tragesser joined on bass, adding a rock-solid foundation. In 2024, Daniel Pouliot (Horse the Band, Ancestors) replaced Keith on drums, expanding their sound. Their debut album, Unlikely Futures, drops May 30th on streaming, with a vinyl release on May 31st. Recorded at The Hallowed Halls with Justin Phelps (Cake, Amanda Palmer, Mars Volta), mixed by Gabe Van (Failure, M83), and mastered by Adam Gonsalves at Telegraph, the album pushes their genre-crossing artistry even further.
Times Infinity: Based in Portland, Oregon, Times Infinity is the scrump-rock creation of five longtime friends, blending jangly anthems, eerie orchestral moments, and fuzzy DIY grit into a sound that's both adventurous and basement-born. Formed from past projects Elkteeth and Porches, the band debuted in 2016 with a self-titled album, followed by the 2018 EP Party to Extinction and a West Coast tour. Their upcoming LP, Boy on Horse—a labor of love recorded in 2019–2020 but delayed by the pandemic—is finally set for vinyl release on May 31, 2025.
Spooky Mountain: Portland-based songwriter Chris Biggs started Spooky Mountain as a solo project, crafting songs in the studio. Now a full-band experience, Spooky Mountain merges lush, flanged-out ‘80s guitars with ethereal indie rock, evoking the expansive sounds of Springsteen, Tom Petty, and The War on Drugs.
The result? A cinematic soundscape—both nostalgic and propulsive—best played with the windows down, chasing something (or someone) just out of reach.
